The Blood-Soaked Hypocrisy: How the World Enabled Pakistan’s 75+Years of Terror Against India

For over seven decades, India has suffered the wounds of a neighbor that thrives not on peace or progress, but on deception, destruction, and terrorism. Since 1947, Pakistan has relentlessly waged a proxy war against India, exploiting tribal militias, terrorist organizations, and radicalized ideology to maim, kill, and destabilize. And yet, in an outrageous display of global hypocrisy, the so-called “civilized world” has not only turned a blind eye but has repeatedly financed and empowered this terror-exporting state.

1947: The First Betrayal

Barely months after the trauma of Partition, Pakistan launched its first attack on India through tribal raiders (“kabailis”) backed by its army. Their goal? To forcibly capture Kashmir. Massacres, rapes, and pillaging followed, especially in Baramulla, leading to the first Indo-Pak war. This unprovoked aggression forced Maharaja Hari Singh to accede to India. This was not a war for territoryit was a war of ideology. Pakistan, right from birth, was built not on unity, but on hatred especially towards a secular India.

1965 and 1971: War and Atrocities

In 1965, Pakistan again betrayed peace efforts and launched Operation Gibraltar to infiltrate Kashmir with armed insurgents, hoping to ignite rebellion. India crushed the offensive and taught Pakistan a lesson. But they never learned. In 1971, Pakistan committed genocide in East Pakistan (now Bangladesh)killing nearly 3 million people, raping hundreds of thousands. India intervened to stop the slaughter and liberated Bangladesh. What did the West do during this humanitarian crisis? They armed and supported Pakistan. The U.S. even sent the USS Enterprise to threaten India.

Kargil 1999: Stabbing India in the BackAgain

Even after peace gestures like the Lahore Bus Yatra, Pakistan infiltrated Indian territory in Kargil. Indian soldiers, unprepared and betrayed by a ceasefire, were martyred in the high-altitude conflict.Once again, Pakistani regulars posed as “freedom fighters”. And again, India prevailed.

Decades of Terrorism: Pakistan’s Dirty War

From the 1993 Bombay blasts to 26/11 Mumbai, Parliament attack (2001), Uri (2016), Pulwama (2019) and countless bombings in Delhi, Jaipur, Pune, and KashmirPakistan-backed groups have orchestrated terror on Indian soil with impunity. These are not isolated incidents; this is a state policy. Groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Hizbul Mujahideen, and the Haqqani Network operate with open support from Pakistan’s ISI and military. Their leaders live in luxury. Their training camps are guarded. Their hate is state-sponsored.

2025 Pahalgam Attack: The Horror Repeats

On April 22, 2025, five militants ambushed a group of tourists in the Baisaran Valley near Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, killing 26 civilians and injuring 20 others. This was not just another terror strikethis was an act of religious cleansing. The attackers asked the religion of each tourist. Muslims were spared. Hindus and Christians were gunned down in cold blood. This barbaric, targeted massacre sent shockwaves across the nation. And yet again, the world responded with silence and platitudes. While India mourned, global leaders offered “concerns”but no action

The World’s Disgraceful Silence

Despite all of this, the Westled by the U.S. and supported by Europehas kept Pakistan on life support.

The IMF has bailed out Pakistan more than 20 times despite its default-prone economy, military dominance, and refusal to reform.

Billions in aid from the U.S., UK, and others has flowed into Pakistan even as it harbored Osama bin Laden in Abbottabad just kilometers from a military base.

FATF (Financial Action Task Force) placed Pakistan on a grey list multiple timesonly to remove it under geopolitical pressure, while terror infrastructure remained intact.

Is this not sheer hypocrisy? Afghanistan is sanctioned, Iran is isolated, but Pakistan gets loan waivers, weapons, and sympathydespite being the womb of global jihad.

India: The Lone Voice of Reason

India has shown extraordinary restraint, but also evolving strength. From surgical strikes in 2016 to the Balakot airstrikes in 2019, India has stopped playing victim. Diplomatically, New Delhi has exposed Pakistan in every global forum, while also building alliances with nations tired of Islamabad’s two-faced diplomacy. And still, India is asked to maintain peace. India is told to engage in dialogue. What dialogue can exist when the other side breeds killers?

A Final Word to the World

How many more innocents must die before the world admits its failure?

Every time the IMF writes a cheque, every time a Western leader appeases Pakistan for regional balance, they become complicit. Terror doesnt grow without funding. Hatred doesnt spread without enablers.

Its not just Pakistans fault any more its the moral bankruptcy of the global order that pretends peace while empowering a state built on bloodshed.

India will continue to rise. But the world must remember: Terrorism anywhere is a threat everywhere.
